In her drama, Ljudmila Razumovska entirely respects the original fairytale and she deosn’t try to mask or alter the sad ending of “The little Mermaid”. She manages to point out that love is a magnificent and remarkable feeling, bigger than life itself.  Whenever a true love is born it lasts forever. Neither misfortune nor happiness are important, love surpasses it all. Children know that parental love is unconditional and that it never ends. “The little mermaid” tells the story about the eternity of every true love.
A somewhat sad story gets transformed into a rock - musical in order to lighten and emphasize the sublime in it.

YOU is an inhabitant of a distant planet and every night when he goes to sleep his attention is drawn by a “blue” planet in space. Together with his friend Buba Truba, in a “Smeholet” (which is a special aircraft), he lands on Earth in order to meet its inhabitants and satisfy his curiosity. But, the Earth is not as idyllic as it seemed when observed from space. He becomes an active participant in different situations which lead to the transformation of people and their acts. Instead of play and joy, fear and mistrust creep into the children’s hearts on this street while their friendship gets tested.
Mungos manages to become “the Ruler” of the Linden Street because of his behaviour and blackmails, and succeeds in dividing its little inhabitants.
A boy called Šapica, the most delicate among the company, becomes the first victim of Mungos’s blackmailing. At first, he fails to confront the maltreating properly, but he will be the one who will go through the transformation and become the core of the rebellion against Mungos’s tyranny.
Based upon an exciting and very popular novel by Milivoje Matošec, this play shows the importance of fighting against violence and how an individual rebellion can make a lot of difference.

Visuals : Ana Košir
Music : Špela Avsenak
Production : „Forum“ Ljubljana
Co-production : Cankarjev dom

“Thumbelina“ is one of the subtlest and most beautiful fairytales by a Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. Thumbelina is a girl whose fragility keeps taking her to different places and whose courage and love always help her find the right path.
The first virtual puppet show, performed by Mini Theatre from Ljubliana, is a mixture of computer animation and a puppet show in a virtual computer environment. The characters from the fairytale come to life on screen and with the help of the animators and the audience they keep trying to save the heroine and get her out of trouble.
The story is set in a virtual space which is open and flexible. There are two different solutions to each situation in the show. With the help of animators, children define the character and course of the adventure in a specific situation.
The fairytale is organised and structured as a play which focuses on creative team work. The correct solution and decision in a specific situation upgrades a classical puppet show making the abovementioned complex technology appealing to children.
The authors encourage them to play the role of animators after the show and stir the characters to life.
