LEON KOVKE (Momčilo Kovačević)

( Born on 13 March 1949., in Belgrade )

Playwright and screenplay writer. He graduated from The Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade ( class of 1977/78 - 1981/82), Department of Dramaturgy. He is a member of the Association of Film Artists of Serbia since 1982. A member of Association of Playwrights of Serbia since 2000.

Programme editor, PR and editor of “Teatron” (2000) in Serbian Museum of Theatre Arts. Editor and editor in chief of the edition “Contemporary Serbian Drama”  (books 10 - 35,
2000 - 2008). Secretary of the Association of Serbian Playwrights, lives and works in Belgrade.

With the same commitment and sincerity writes for both children and adults.
