In the lack of a better or more precise name "Radio.Nica" presents a group of mostly young people who try, in time not suitable for the development of creative abilities, direct their strength and focus on creating new and interesting art forms.
It is an informal group which has emerged during the festival Zvezdarište where, during the last two years, it gathered around the workshop of light and was led by theatre director Nikola Zavišić.
The group has grown a bit, has profiled, its members are actively engaged in some form of performing arts (production, dramaturgy, directing, acting, applied art, scenery, etc.). And now tries to sum up the last two workshops into one event.
At the workshops that had the name: "The space of light – the light of space" attendees were given the opportunity to learn the basic techniques of using the lights in the theater mainly through practical work on their own light installations. In this way, they learned how to use the light, inspiring each other and pushing the limits of their knowledge. Some of their solutions also inspired me, being the lead man of the workshop, to discover some new opportunities for the practical use of light in the plays where I worked after that. In this way we get a constructive, creative dialogue, which now has a practical presentation at the opening of the Festival Pozorište Zvezdarište 2011.
The idea is to use lights and light installations to make the path to the stars, where we together with the audience discover some new light features in real space. The whole building of "Vuk" Cultural Centre Cultural Centre will be a labyrinth of different light installations and stories, so that the audience and guests in a different way can see the building of the host of the festival, but also themselves and their role in it.
Join Radio.Nica on its way through the "Spacee of light - light of space" and Shine up to the stars! This will be our third get-together in Vuk, this time with your help and participation
